Daubry Leonard Ebizimoh

Ebizimoh Leonard Daubry is a Partner at Summit Legal LP, with over a decade of experience advising companies, entrepreneurs, institutions and private clients on complex corporate, commercial and regulatory matters. His practice is principally focused on Corporate and Commercial Law, Corporate Governance, Commercial Transactions, Real Estate, Tax, Regulatory Compliance, Debt Recovery and Dispute Resolution. He has advised on a wide range of transactions and business arrangements, including corporate structuring, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, commercial agreements, property transactions, regulatory matters and general corporate advisory. Ebizimoh takes a commercially focused approach to legal practice, combining technical legal expertise with a practical understanding of the business and strategic considerations that underpin his clients’ decisions.

His work frequently involves advising clients on legal risk, structuring transactions, negotiating and documenting commercial arrangements, and navigating regulatory requirements in Nigeria. Since co-founding the firm in 2019, he has played a central role in the growth and development of its corporate and commercial practice. He has worked across a broad range of sectors and has been involved in significant transactions, advisory mandates and dispute-related engagements, representing and advising clients in matters requiring careful legal analysis, commercial judgment and strategic execution.

He obtained his LL.B from Igbinedion University, Okada, in 2014 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2015 after completing his professional legal training at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja. In 2023, he obtained a professional certification in Corporate Governance and Administration from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSAN). Ebizimoh is a Member of the UK Arbitration Institute, reflecting his continuing professional interest in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. His growing experience in this area complements his broader corporate and commercial practice, particularly in relation to contractual risk, dispute avoidance and the resolution of complex commercial disputes.
