Uchechukwu Agnetha Ugwu

Uchechukwu Agnetha Ugwu is a Senior Associate at Summit Legal, with a multidisciplinary practice spanning entertainment law, intellectual property, corporate governance, and environmental and sustainability law.

She earned her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Buckingham in 2017 and completed her professional legal training at the Nigerian Law School in 2018, following which she was called to the Nigerian Bar. Demonstrating her commitment to continuous professional development and sound corporate governance, she was subsequently admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.

Uchechukwu advises artists, creatives, entrepreneurs, and businesses on artiste management, contractual relationships, intellectual property protection, brand development, regulatory compliance, and the commercial exploitation of creative works. Her practice is distinguished by a practical understanding of the creative industries and a strong commitment to protecting the legal and commercial interests of her clients.

Her interest in responsible enterprise also informs her work in environmental and sustainability law.
